The biggest regatta of the year welcomes all boats in possession of an ORC Club or ORC International certificate and the MNE Cruisers classes.
The Arsenal Cup brings together sailors from the entire Boka Bay, gathering in remembrance of the old naval shipyard, Arsenal, that presents a significant part of the history of Tivat and surrounding towns. For over 100 years, the company offered job opportunities to local nautical workers.
Upon the company’s economic decline, the Porto Montenegro development marked a change in the dynamic of Tivat, the Boka Bay, and the whole of Montenegro. What was once a naval base is now a luxury superyacht marina with luxury residences bringing in superyacht business and those from the yachting and high-end real estate sectors. The Arsenal Cup regatta is a great way to honour the historical roots of the area and appreciate where the future leads, for PMYC staff and members, and local sailors alike.
