Following the success of overseas events during 2019, Porto Montenegro continues to connect with the most exclusive locations in the Mediterranean through its ‘A life less ordinary’ theme.
To celebrate Montenegro’s statehood day on the 13th July, Porto Montenegro organised a private party at Phi Beach’s The Rock Club in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. The event featured Porto Montenegro resident DJ Miss Millie with a distinct Montenegrin theme where VIP guests were offered a special Regina cocktail in honour of Queen Elena di Savoia of Italy, a Montenegrin princess.
Following the event, David Margason, MD of Porto Montenegro and President of the PMYC, was welcomed by Commander Edoardo Recchi of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda to enter a reciprocal agreement with Porto Montenegro Yacht Club.
In recent years, Porto Montenegro has been at the forefront of the safeguarding of the Boka Bay marine ecosystem through the adoption of the Seabin marine plastic retrieval systems which have been central to the preservation of sanitized waters in the Porto Montenegro marina.
In line with Porto Montenegro’s efforts and the chart of the One Ocean Foundation, Mr. Margason gifted the YCCS and the One Ocean Foundation a Seabin which will be installed in the near future in the Porto Cervo marina to collect floating plastics in its basin.
